George welcomes new local business

30.03.2010  Andrew George MP has welcomed the launch of a new graphic design company based in Helston which is working to promote local businesses and initiatives such as the Farmers’ Market.

Fergus Muller and Rose Robinson, who trained locally, established Ki Design seven months ago and they offer a range of services including web design, branding and e marketing. They have been involved in the Farmers’ Market project and are in the early stages of developing a web proposal for the initiative.

Mr George met with Fergus and Rose at their premises at Tresprison Business Park in Helston yesterday (Monday 29th March 2010).

Mr George said: "This is a new business in a young business park. They are local young people, locally trained who are working to support other local enterprises and the development of a low carbon economy. This is just what is needed to build our way out of this tough recession.

"They are resourceful and enterprising people. This is good news for our community. The energy and optimism is infectious. These youthful enterprises are our future. I hope that we can encourage more Ki Design style enterprises in other sectors."
